Why StretchRun…

Are you a runner looking to Stretch yourself just a little bit more? Have you dabbled in longer runs, higher mileage, and toying with the idea of running your first marathon? If so, you have come to the right coach! I am an avid marathoner – it’s my favorite distance to run – and I want to bring you along in that joy that comes with completing your first marathon!

I am looking for athletes who want to set a new goal in their running career. Does the thought of running a marathon stretch you and take you out of your comfort zone? Maybe it challenges you more than you have been challenged previously, even scaring you a tad? Does it also excite you and bring about twinges of nervous energy? Through the training (and with me by your side encouraging you, creating a personal and customizable plan and equipping you for success) the goal will be for you to hit your sweet spot in running. This is the place you have found the love and joy of the sport and are performing at optimal effort. You will be approaching your workouts not only with the stretch-run in mind, but also recognizing the journey to get you there. It’s about consistency and forward movement that will help you reach your running potential and I’m here to help!

I am dedicated to keeping current with the newest research in running and nutrition. I love this sport and am constantly reading, listening to podcast, and furthering my education for ways to improve as a coach. Together we can sketch out a plan. With the knowledge and experience I bring, as well as the experience you have as a runner, we will make this your most successful training season to date.
